Director of MIA Emergency Situations Management Department Zviad Katsashvili has hosted Managing Director of the Crisis Response Department of the European External Action Service Agostino Miozzo at Rescue training and Response Base.
At the meeting sides discussed the role of the Emergency Situations Management Department during emergency and crisis situations as well as implemented and scheduled reforms in this direction. Parties also discussed the results caused by of man-triggered and natural disasters
Members of delegation also viewed special buildings located on the territory of the base including storehouse of chemical, biological and radioactive equipment as well as special rescue appliances.
Demonstrative trainings were also held at Rescue Training and Response Base in the attendance of Agostino Miozzo.
