Within the frames of the visit to Georgia Jordanian Gendarmerie delegation from the general directorate, headed by General-Major Hussein Al Havatme got acquainted with work process of the MIA units.
Within the frames of the visit guests met with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Merab Malania and Director of Special Tasks Department Mindia Lortkipanidze.
At the meeting sides discussed issues connected with prospects of enhancing the cooperation between Special Tasks Department and Gendarmerie Department of Jordanian Ministry of Interior.
Director of Gendarmerie of Jordan has expressed his full support towards the Special Tasks Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for becoming the member of Association of Mediterranean and European Gendarmerie (FIEP) and invited Georgian side on Special Operations Forces Exhibitions and workshops (SOFEX) which will be held in Jordan.
Within the frames of Special Operations Forces Exhibition Georgian side will have an opportunity to participate in practical trainings oriented on international challenges and enhance cooperation with representatives of the foreign special forces.
Within the frames of the visit guests also visited Joint Operations Center and 112 center. Members of the delegation got acquainted with work specifics of the mentioned MIA units.
