The officers of Anti-corruption Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained former employee of the Lanchkhuti municipality Ese S. for assiatance in bribery.
Investigation established that Ese S. on behalf of one of the deputies of the head of the municipality promised to the certain citizen to assist in leasing 402 square meters of the land area of the municipality and in return demanded and received 3000 GEL.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of assistance in bribery, article 25-338, I part of the Criminal Code, which envisages from 6 to 9 years of imprisonment. Investigation is conducted by Anti-corruption Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
