The training on “Judicial Mechanisms against Domestic Violence” was held in the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The training was attended by the acting patrol police officers. The course was organized in the scope of the project Entity of Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women which is financed by the UN WOMEN organization in Georgia and implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and local non-governmental organization Anti Violence network in Georgia
In the mentioned training Patrol Police officers took part from all regions of Georgia. Within the frames of the training officers will receive information on domestic violence. Studies include practical exercises as well as thematic videos.
At MIA Academy representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and independent experts in the field of domestic violence will train Patrol Police officers throughout the year.
