The working meeting was held in MIA Academy, being held in the framework of the Prague Process Targeted Initiative pilot project 5. Project is being implemented since 2014 and aims to strengthen the capacity of participating states in the sphere of establishing identity and/or nationality of irregular migrants through the exchange of best practices. Project is implemented by the support of Polish and Romanian governments. Representatives of the participating countries shared best practices in the sphere of Illegal migration.
Meeting was attended by the representatives of Ministry of Internal Affairs Migration department, The State Commission on Migration Issues, the International Center for Migration Policy Development, International Organization for Migration and state representatives of Prague Process Project member countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belorussia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Netherlands, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine).
After the meeting participants visited Temporary Accommodation Center of Migration Department and learned about the specifics of the work of the Migration Department.
Prague process secretariat function is undertaken by the International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) and coordinates pilot projects along with EU members states.
