At Police Academy memorandum on co-operation was signed between Police Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Aparatus of the inspector for personal data protection. The document was signed by the Rector of the Academy- Nukri Gelashvili and Inspector for the protection of personal data- Tamar Kaldani. Memorandum is aimed at elaboration of joint educational program and scheduling and implementation of trainings in connection with processing and protection of personal data.
Both sides have expressed readiness to assist each other in case of necessity for using educational and organizational–technical recourses. Sides are also obliged to hold trainings, seminars and work meetings as well as to provide active involvement.
From February 15 the joint training was launched for MIA employees on the issue of personal data protection under the organization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the apparatus of inspector for personal data protection. Within the frame of the training, participants will be familiarized with the “Code on the protection of Personal Data” and introduced with proceedings processing and on protection of personal information.
