Pupils of Public school N48 of Tbilisi visited MIA Academy. The visit was aimed at familiarizing pupils with issues connected with the study process of the Academy and getting introduced with the infrastructure.
Guests were hosted by the main instructor of rescue training faculty of professional training division – Archil Kavtaradze who shared his professional experience and made emphasis on interesting topics for the senior class pupils, in particular procedures required for new staff recruitment and study methods at the MIA Academy. At the meeting MIA representative provided students with comprehensive information on bachelor’s program, which is being implemented for the first time this year. MIA Academy provides 4-year mandatory study program on police activities and 2-year study for the magister diploma. Both programs are led by the experienced and prominent specialist in the field of law, based on the latest study methods.
School pupils also visited classes and gym of the Academy mock jury court and mock port of entry, real and simulated shooting range.
Similar activities are held at MIA Academy on the regular basis and are aimed at raising awareness on legal culture among youth that will contribute to crime prevention.
