Pupils from public school N8 located in Khashuri visited MIA Police Academy within the frames of “Community Action and Linkages for Legal Socialization” (Ge Calls) project implemented by “PH International” organization.
Pupils got acquainted with methods of studies at the Academy and attended presentation on the topic: “Study Process at MIA Academy”. They also visited classes of the academy, gym, mock jury court and border checkpoint as well as real and simulated shooting ranges. Aim of the visit is to raise awareness on legal culture among juveniles for crime prevention.
International organization “PH International” is implementing “Community Action and Linkages for Legal Socialization” project with the financial support of the US Department of State’s International Bureau of Narcotics and Law-enforcement (INL), in co-operation with Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
20 schools which are involved in the project were chosen as a result of the contest. At this stage the project is implemented in Poti, Telavi, Akhaltsikhe and Khashuri. In chosen schools police inspectors, school supervisors along with school teachers are holding lectures on legal culture.
