The officers of Division Combating Criminals` World of the Main Division Combating Organized Crime of the Central Criminal Police Department of the MIA as a result of investigative activities carried out on the basis of operative information detained Vladimer K (DoB: 1986) in Kurdiani str., Tbilisi, for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
The law enforcers during the search of a house and auxiliary facilities of Vladimer K. seized "Kalashnikov" system 2 unregistered automatic weapons, 201 bullets, unregistered hunting rifle of Turkish production, hand-made unregistered pistol, 6 magazines and 7 details of firearms.
The investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping firearms and ammunition (part 2 of the article 236 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
