The officers of Kobuleti police station of Ajara Regional Main Division as a result of operative-searching activities detained Avtandil Ts. (DoB 1989) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms.
During the searching activities held in the detainee’s house Law enforcers seize AKM automatic weapon with one cartridge and 35 bullets. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
