The officers of Old Tbilisi police division as a result of investigative activity held on the basis of operative information Giorgi Kh. (DoB 1991) was detained in Tbilisi for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms.
During the searching activities held in detainee’s basement policemen seized “Scorpion VZ” submachine gun, CZ 75 P07 pistol and 70 bullets. According to the results of expertise the seized weapons and bullets are suitable for shooting. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
