The officers of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Main Division and Baghdati Regional Unit, as a result of investigative activities detained Galaktion S (DoB 1973) for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
As a result of searching activities held at detainee’s house located in Varatsikhe village, Baghdati, the law enforcers seized “Makarov” pistol, A-KA-74 automatic weapon, 1 cartridge and 90 bullets. The detainee pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
