The officers of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Givi P. (DoB 1980) in Tskaltubo for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition.
During the searching activities held in detainee’s house policemen seized “Kalashnikov” automatic weapon, 2 cartridges, 60 bullets. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
