The officers of Ozurgeti Regional Division of Guria Regional Main Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of immediate operative-investigative activities detained Irakli A. (DoB: 1994) on the fact of stealing.
The investigation established that the detainee stole 40 kg. of nuts packed in bags from the open balcony of Melki S., the inhabitant of the village Likhauri of Ozurgeti Region; the detainee sold the nut in Ozurgeti for 170 GEL and tried to escape.
As a result of searching and investigative activities carried out on the basis of operative information the law enforcers detained Irakli A. in a few hours in the vicinity of the village Likhauri, Ozurgeti Region. The accused pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of stealing (sub clause “a” of the 2nd part of the article 177 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
