The officers of Tsalenjikha police division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Rezav U. (DoB 1950). During the searching activities held in detainee's house, law enforcers seized illegal firearms and ammunition.
Policemen seized: double-barreled combo shotgun, 8 bullets, Makarov pistol with 1 cartridge and 2 bullets. According to the results of expertise firearms and ammunition are suitable for shooting.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms and ammunition, article 236, I part of the Criminal Code.
