The officers of Ajara division of Central Criminal Police Department, Division against illegal migration and Ajara Regional Main Division as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained the citizen of Tajikistan Zaruna A. (DoB 1974) on the fact of trafficking.
Investigation established that on December 7, 2012 detainee arrived in Georgia along with Bargirul R. (DoB 1988). Detainee deprived the victim of the passport, illegally restricted her freedom and forced her to be involved in prostitution by means of threats, intimidation and physical abuse. Zarina A. appropriated sums of Bargigul R. received through prostitution for one year.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of trafficking, article 143, I part of the Criminal Code.
