Officers of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities exposed the resident of Rustavi Davit Sh. (DoB 1992) for committing cybercrime.
Investigation established that Davit Sh. illegally accessed and posted false information the official web-pages of the Ministry of Agriculture, administration of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti governor and news agency – “civil press”- http://szs.gov.ge, http://moa.gov.ge, http://cp.ge.
Investigation ascertained that the mentioned person illegal accessed the following web-pages: droni.ge, news.ge, newpress.ge, guria.gov.ge, dea.ge და ipn.ge.
As a result of investigative activities police seized computer technic as evidence from davit Sh-s house.
Investigation is in progress on the fact Illegal Access to Computer Information and Violation of Rule on Maintenance of Computer, Computer System or Their Network (article 184, I part and article 286 II part of the Criminal Code). Investigation is conducted by Central Criminal Police Department.
