The officers of Samtskhe-Javakheti district police inspectors along with Border Police Department as a result of the jointly held operative-investigative activities detained Sri-Lanka citizens: T.S. (DoB 1989) and S.I. (DoB 1986 for the attempted illegal crossing of the state border in group.
Investigation established that detainees attempted to cross Georgian-Turkish State border illegally.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of the attempted illegal crossing of the state border, article 19-344 part II, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
