The officers of Ambrolauri police division of Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained Shio K. (DoB 1995) Mamuka B. (DoB 1992) for theft committed in group.
Investigation established that detainees robbed three shops located in Nikortsminda village, district Ambrolauri and appropriated various household appliances and cash up to 100 GEL. On the same date detainees stole CD player from the vehicle in Nikortsminda and fled from the place of crime.
Law enforcers managed to detain both of the mentioned persons immediately as a result of special activities, several hours later. Police seized stolen items as evidence. Detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of theft committed in group, article 177 II part, sub-paragraph B and part III, sub-paragraph A and D of the Criminal Code.
