The officers of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of joint investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Anton S. (DoB 1990) at Tbilisi International Airport for stealing.
Investigation established that detainee worked as a loader at the airport since 2011. During the loading process the mentioned person appropriated photo camera worth of 300 EU from the luggage of the Danish citizen and thus inflicted physical damage to the passenger.
It was also established that Anton S. on the regular basis, illegally appropriated foreign citizens’ personal items and technic for further realization.
Part of the stolen items was seized as evidences from Anton S. He has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of stealing, article 177, II part, sub-paragraph A which envisages from three to five years of imprisonment.
