The officers of the Detectives Division of Samtskhe-Javakheti Police Department and Borjomi regional employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of investigative activities detained Vepkhia Sh (D.o.B.: 1970) and Besik B. (D.o.B.: 1971) for bribe-giving.
Investigation established that the detainees offered 200 GEL as a bribe to the Borjomi district inspector-investigators of Samtskhe-Javakheti Police Department for refraining from their service duties and patronage the realization of timbers illegally obtained and processed by them.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of bribe-giving (2nd part of the article 339 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
