The officers of Central Criminal Police Department as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained previously convicted Nikoloz G. (DoB 1971) for illegal keeping, purchase and smuggling to Georgia. The mentioned person was detained by the law enforcers at Tbilisi International Airport.
Police detained Nikoloz G. when he arrived from Egypt. During the personal search police seized various types of drugs from the detainee. According to the results of expertise police seized 22 pills of “Tramadol”, 2,52gr of hemp and 1,79gr of opium.
Drug test results revealed that detainee was drug addicted person.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal keeping, purchase and smuggling to Georgia, articles 260, I part and 262, I part of the Criminal Code.
