The officers of Chokhatauri police division of Guria Regional Main Division detained Giorgi L. (DoB 1985) in Khidistavi village for the attempted murder.
Investigation established that on June 5 detainee inflicted two injuries in belly area with a cold steel to Zurab U. (DoB 1968) on the basis of vengeance and fled from the place of crime. The incident took place in vicinities of Chokhatauri central highway. As a result of investigative activities law enforcers detained Giorgi L. three days later after the crime took place.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Condition of health of the victim is stable at the moment. He is undergoing treatment course at the hospital.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of the attempted murder, article 19-108 of the Criminal Code.
