The officers of Detectives Division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of investigative activities detained Levan D. (DoB 1979) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that on February 12, detainee inflicted heavy injury in head area with a blunt object to Zaza K. (DoB 1983) on the basis of conflict that took place in Akhalsopeli village, Zugdidi. The accused person fled from the place of crime while the victim died on the scene due to the inflicted trauma.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 18 of the Criminal Code.
