The officers of the District Police Division of Kakheti Regional Main Division of the MIA, as a result of investigative activities carried out on the basis of operative information, revealed Ioseb Ts. – date of birth: 1979 and Davit K. – date of birth: 1987 in the fact of illegal catching of fish.
Ioseb Ts. and Davit K. were revealed in Chaduniani village, Lagodekhi region while they caught fish via prohibited instruments. 4 kilograms and 800 grams of various types of fish and electroshock device was seized by police as the evidence. Both accused persons pleaded guilty.
The investigation is underway over the fact of mass slaughter of fish via prohibited instruments. (3rd part of the article 300, Criminal Code of Georgia).
