The officers of Anti-corruption Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities the head of “Brotseula” station of Georgian Railway on the fact of commercial bribery.
Investigation established that head of “Brotseula” station Amiran Murusidze demanded 2000 USDs from the citizen and in return offered to allow him use one of the routes of the railway in order to carry the wagon to the ware house.
Law enforcers detained Amiran Murusidze in the moment of accepting the part of the demanded sum- 1000 USD.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of commercial bribery, article 221, III part, which envisaged from 2 to 4 years of imprisonment. Investigation is conducted by Anti-corruption Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
