The officers of Kaspi Regional unit of Shida Kartli Regional Main Division in collaboration with “Melioration of Georgia” LTD of the Ministry of Agriculture and as a result of investigative activities Revaz K. (DoB 1961, currently on probation) Ioseb Kh. (DoB 1982) and Goderdzi O. (DoB 1958) were detained for the attempted theft.
The accused persons attempted to steal 700 meters of irrigation pipes located in Ashuriani fields, Metekhi village and owned by the “Melioration of Georgia”. On the basis of the operative information police officers arrived at the place. As soon as police arrived, the accused persons fled from the place of crime, however they were detained in a few minutes in Kaspi.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of stealing, article 177, III part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
