The officers of Samtskhe-Javakheti and Imereti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti police departments as a result of jointly held operative-investigative activities detained 6 persons for armed assault committed in group, premeditated murder and non-reporting the crime: previously convicted Temur B. (DoB 1971), previously convicted Nodar A. (DoB 1971) convicted for murder in past Koba Sh. (DoB 1971), Ivane G. (DoB 1980) Ketevan Kh. (DoB 1978) and Dariko Sh. (DoB 1985).
Investigation established that on January 10, 2016 Koba Sh. contacted Nodar A. Temur B. and Ivane G. to plot the assault. The gathering was held in Keteva Kh’s house where they planned to assault bagrat S in Ninotsminda. On January 13detainees assaulted Bagrat S’s house and illegally appropriated cash and jewelry from the family members. Sonik S. offered resistance to the offenders owning to which Temur B. inflicted multiple einjuries in throat area. Due to the received injuries Sonik S. (DoB 1936) died at the place of crime, while offenders left the crime scene. Offenders got rid of the weapon of crime from the vehicle.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed assault committed in group, premeditated murder and non-reporting the crime, articles 179, II part, 108 and 376 of the criminal code.
