The officers of Kutaisi police division as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted for theft, Irakli Ch. (DoB 1989) for armed robbery.
Investigation established that on June 26 the detainee assaulted the drug store located in Kutaisi, as a result of which he appropriated 280 GEL under the pressure of the firearm and fled from the place of crime. Law enforcers managed to detain Irakli Ch. in Zugdidi.
Irakli Ch. has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery, article 179, I part of the Criminal Code.
