The officers of Imereti and Kvemo Kartli Regional Main Divisions and Terjola police division as a result of jointly held operative-searching and investigative activities detained Lasha M. (DoB 1993) on the fact of armed robbery.
Investigation established that on February 9 Lasha M. along with his accomplice assaulted the family of Gela Robakidze residing in Simoneti village. Under the threats offenders managed to appropriate 20 000 GEL, 4 000 USD, 1 500 EU and 750 Turkish Liras as well as jewelry and fled from the place of crime.
As a result of investigative activities law enforcers already detained one person involved in the mentioned case and managed to identify three more accomplices. At this stage operative activities are held in order to detain them.
Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of armed robbery, article 179, II part, sub-paragraph B and A of the Criminal Code.
