The officers of National Interpol Bureau of Georgia along with Patrol Police Department of Achara Regional Main Division under MIA as a result of jointly held activities detained the citizen of Turkey Ahmet Sami Oney (DoB 1971) in Batumi International Airport at border checkpoint while entering Georgia from Russia.
The abovementioned person was wanted by Ankara INTERPOL since 21.02.2014 on international level.
Ahmet Sami Oney was convicted for committing crimes envisaged by №5237 103/1, 53/1-2-3, 103/6 and 62 articles of Criminal Code of Turkey that implies lewd act with underage.
At the moment pre-extradition procedures envisaged by law are underway.
