The officers of the Gurjaani police division of Kakheti Regional Main Division as a result of investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained previously convicted for theft Davit T. (DoB 1990) for committing domestic violence.
Investigation established that detainee inflicted health injuries to his stepchildren born in 2012 and 2014. Detainee also physically abused his own son Saba T. (DoB 2011). The incident took place in detainee’s house located in Gurjaani village. Due to the received injuries one of the child’s health was endangered as a result, the child was transferred to Tbilisi at Iashvili Central Hospital by the ambulance crew. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of domestic violence, article 12611 of the Criminal Code.
