The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-searching activities detained Shota L. (DoB 1978) for the attempted murder.
Investigation established that detainee inflicted two wounds with a firearm in belly area to Goderdzi J. on the basis of jealousy and fled from the place of crime.
Law enforcers managed to detain Shota L. in several hours as a result of immediate investigative activities. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of the attempted murder, article 19-108 of the Criminal Code.
