The officers of Imereti, Ratcha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti police department as a result of the immediate operative-investigative activities detained Merab G. (DoB 1957) for premeditated murder.
It was established that detainee inflicted lethal injury to his son-in-law Paata K. (DoB 1972) on the basis of conflict that took place in Satsire village. Due to the received injuries the victim died at the place of crime.
Law enforcers detained Merab G. at the place of crime. The weapon of murder was seized by police. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
