The officers of Guria Patrol Police and Guria Regional Main Division as a result of the joint investigative activities detained Temur R. (DoB 1974) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that detainee inflicted lethal injury in head area with an axe to his wife Natalia R. (DoB 1985) on the basis of jealousy in Dvabzu village. Due to the received injuries the victim died at the place of crime.
Law enforcers detained Temur R. in Dvabzu village, several minutes after the crime, when he attempted to flee from the place of incident. The weapon of murder was seized by the police as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code.
