The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-searching activities detained Ilia M. (DoB 1981) for attempted murder and premeditated murder.
Investigation established that being under the influence of alcohol, detainee inflicted injuries to Diego K. in chest area and Zviad Ghubeladze in belly area with a cold steel on the basis of conflict and fled from the place of crime. Due to the received injuries Diego K. died at the hospital in several hours and other victim is undergoing medical treatment in the hospsital.
Law enforcers detained Ilia M. as a result of immediate activities in several hours after the crime took place.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of attempted murder and premeditated murder.
