The officers of Tbilisi Police Main Division as a result of searching and investigative activities held on the basis of operative information detained Zaal I. (DoB 1967) in Tbilisi for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs and psychotropic pills in especially large quantities.
Investigation established that detainee had arranged cache for drugs at one of the cemeteries. Law enforcers seized 304 pills of suboxin drug (which contains 2,4797 gr of buprenorphine) and 49 capsules of “Lirika” drug, containing 7,35gr of prebagalin.
During the searching activities held in the detainee’s apartment law enforcers seized 11 capsules of “Lirika” (containing 3.3gr of prebagalin).
Drug test results revealed that detainee was addicted to opium and buprenorphine drugs.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs and psychotropic pills in especially large quantities (article 260, III part and article 261 of the Criminal Code.
