The officers of the division combating illegal circulation of drugs of the Central Criminal Police Department of Mia as a result of investigative and searching activities held on the basis of operative information detained Mamuka R. (DoB 1971) and Marine K. (DoB 1970) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
Investigation revealed that detainees bought drugs in Turkey and transported them into Georgia illegally. During the searching of Marine K. law enforcers seized 9,5279 gr of drug which contain 4,859229 gr of Heroine and 2 pills which contain 0,8 gr of Methadone.
Drug test revealed that Mamuka R. was under the influence of opium type drug.
Detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities an illegal transporting of drugs to Georgia, article 260, III part, “A” sub-paragraph and article 262 IV part, “A” subparagraph. Investigation is conducted by Central Criminal Police department.
