The officers of Imereti, Ratcha-lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Police Department as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities detained D.P. (DoB 1978) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.
D.P. was detained by the law enforcers at Kutaisi International Airport. During the personal search of the detainee policemen seized 16 packages of the drug substance which according to expertise contains 4,42221 gr. of methadone
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, VI part, sub-paragraph A of the criminal Code.
