The officers of Guria Police Department of the MIA as a result of operative and investigative activities carried out on the basis of an operative information near Sarpi customs checkpoint detained Aleksandre K (DoB 1980), previously convicted, residing in Shemokmedi village, Ozurgeti region for illegal purchase, storage and import of drugs into the territory of Georgia in especially large quantities. The mentioned person was detained at Tbilisi International Airport.
During the personal search of the detainee the law enforces seized 8,7369 gr 21 pills and 1 piece of Suboxin; according to the examination the drug contained 0,1747 Buprenorphine.
The drug test revealed that Aleksandre K was under the influence of drugs at the moment of his detention.
