The officers of Kareli police division of Shida Kartli Police Department along with Special Tasks Department as a result of jointly held operative-investigative activities detaied M.B. (DoB 1981) for extortion.
Investigation established that detainee extorted cash under the physical violence from the citizen, which took place in Ruisi village.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of extortion, article 181, I part of the Criminal Code.
