The officers of Poti Police Division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division and Vake-Saburtalo police Division as a result of jointly held operative-investigative activities detained Nika Z. (DoB 1991) Nugzar G. (DoB 1994) and Irakli Zh. (DoB 1987) for robbery in Tbilisi.
Investigation established that late at night on November 30 detainees broke into the aparatment of Tsisana K. located in Poti. They physically assaulted the apartment owner and her daughter and appropriated 2400 USD and jewelry worth of 12 857 Gel under the threats of liquidation and fled from the place of crime.
During the personal search of the detainees law enforcers seized part of the stolen sum and appropriated jewelry. Detainees have already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of robbery committed by prior consent of the group, by illegally entering the house, in large quantities and under violence, article 178, III part sub-paragraphs A, C and E as well as part IV, sub-paragraph B of the Criminal Code.
