The officers of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Police Department as a result of operative-investigative activities detained M.Q. (DoB 1964) in Zugdidi for illegal purchase and keeping of firearms.
During the personal search of the detainee law enforcers seized 3 pistols and 45 bullets, while having conducted searching activities in her arms store, law enforcers seized 2 hunting rifles- “Stranger” without registration numbers with 224 bullets of various calibers.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of firearms, article 236, Ii part of the criminal code.
