The officers of Detectives Division of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Regional Main Division as a result of immediate operative-searching and investigative activities detained previously convicted and convicted and currently under probationary sentence, Misha Sh. (DoB 1994) for premeditated murder.
Investigation established that late at night on October 15 detainee, on the basis of conflict, inflicted multiple injuries with a knife to the taxi driver Goderdzi Sh. (DoB 1976) in Darcheli village. Due to the inflicted ijuries the victim died at the place of crime, while Misha Sh. fled from the scene with the vehicle owned by the victim and abandoned it in the neighboring village – Akhala Kakhati.
The offender was detained by the police several hours later on Darcheli- Orsantia territory. He has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the criminal code.
