The officers of Lagodekhi police division of Kakheti Regional Main Division as a result of operative-investigative activities detained Teimuraz Q. (DoB 1979) for committing murder, under the aggravating circumstances.
Investigation established that detainee murdered Merab K. (DoB 1955) and Mikheil K. (DoB 1979) with a firearm on the basis of conflict which took place of Apeni village, Lagodekhi. After the mentioned, detainee fled from the place of crime.
As a result of immediate activities held by police, Teimuraz K. was detained several hours later. During the searching activities held in his house police seized the weapon of murder-registered hunting rifle as evidence. Detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of murder, under the aggravating circumstances, article 109, III part, sub-paragraph A of the Criminal Code.
