The officers of Batumi City Division of Adjara A/R Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, as a result of the investigative activities carried out on the basis of operative information detained Gogita Sh. (DoB: 1997) in Sarpi on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs and new psychoactive substances.
The law enforcers during the detainee`s personal search seized 91 packages containing 20.173 gr. of plant mass that according to an expert report belongs to the class of chemical compounds of the new psychoactive substances with the same effect as the cannabinol. Also, the law enforcers seized 1 package of drug containing 0.05616 g MDMA (3,4- metilendioksimetamphetamin).
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs and new psychoactive substances in particularly large quantities (Article 260, parts II-III of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
