The officers of main division for the illegal circulation of narcotics of Central Criminal Police Department alongside same division of Achara Regional Main division as a result of jointly held operative-investigative activities, detained Irakli J. (DoB 1989) for illegal purchase and keeping of narcotic substance in especially large quantities in Aphsarosi highway, Batumi.
As a result of personal searching of the detainee, law enforcers seized 66 pills and a half of crumbled pill of “Ecstasy” , which according to expertise results contain 4,9479 gr. of narcotic substance 3,4 MDMA. Drug test revealed that the detainee is a consumer of Amphetamine, Methamphetamine and “Ecstasy”. The detainee has already pleaded guilty.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities. (Article 260, part VI, subparagraph “A” of the Criminal Code of Georgia.)
