The officers of Samtskhe-Javakheti Regional Main Division and Patrol Police Division of the same region donated blood for the children suffering from Leukemia within the frames of the project – “Donate Blood Save Life”.
Ministry of Internal Affairs has been involved in the mentioned project from 2013. MIA employees from various departments donate blood on the regular basis for the children suffering from Leukemia at Iashvili Children’s’ Hospital with the assistance of “Blood Bank”
Blood donation activities are held in Tbilisi as well as in regions on the regular basis with participation of police officers from various MIA departments. The aim of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is to reduce the lack of blood and blood components necessary for children with leukemia.
