Deputy Director of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Mr. Vakhtang Gomelauri held a meeting with experts from European Union and United States. Purpose of the expert mission is to evaluate Georgian State Land (green) Border.
During the visit, experts will conduct meetings with the representatives of Georgian Border Police and Operative Technical departments. Also, field missions are planned to Georgian-Turkish and Georgian- Armenian Land border zones. Subsequently, Georgian State Border assessment report will be concluded. This report will be guiding document for further improving Land Border infrastructure according to the International Standards and therefore reinforcing Georgian Border Security.
