Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandre Tchikaidze visited newly constructed shooting range for the personnel of Special Operations Department of Special and Emergency Measures Center. Shooting range which was constructed according to contemporary standards and renewed arsenal will improve the level of professionalism of Special Operations Center personnel. Along with the Minister the event was also attended by other representatives of MIA, members of Parliament and Defense Minister Irakli Alasania.
Officers of Counter-terrorist Operations Division presented the demonstrative trainings at the newly constructed shooting range. Target system is completely computerized and managed by the operator and special program. The mentioned system enables personnel to undergo various exercises and helps to boost combat skills. After the trainings fighters presented various tactics of shooting from pistol and automatic weapon.
Counter-terrorist unit has also presented simulation training on detention of terrorists and neutralization by means of which managed to demonstrate high level of professionalism. Minister and guests viewed territory of the center as well as infrastructure.
